Paving
Asphalt paving is a science often misunderstood by the general public. If the asphalt is not installed with the proper equipment under proper conditions via specific methods, the finished product will not last or look very good.

By maintaining fleets of new equipment and highly specialized personnel, APAC-Texas Wheeler Companies in Central Texas does everything possible to install a sound and durable pavement surface. Our in-house quality control staff are licensed and certified to monitor and inspect our processes and procedures for specification compliance.

Pot Hole Repair
A pot hole needs special attention. If you have long linear cracks that measure more than 3/8 inches wide then a sometimes less costly option might be simple crack fill.  However, if the area is more severly damaged or completly void of an asphalt surface at all, then an asphalt repair is in order. Our typical process is to saw cut the edges, excavate the old/damaged asphalt and haul off, compact the existing road base foundation, clean and tack the edges, then re-pave the area with hot mix asphalt (usually a TxDot item 340 Type D).
